The Past
Perfect expresses the idea that something occurred before another action in the
past. It can also show that something happened before a specific time in the
past. To show too, one event in the past took place before another past event.
rule:
(Subject- had+ past participle ---complement)
Example:
- I had never been on a boat in this summer
- I had played guitar in a concert
